Happy New Year!!

Thanks for visiting. It’s been a little while since I’ve posted a blog. With so many things going on in the world and then Florida being hit with a massive hurricane, it’s been quite the challenge. 

I lost everything in Hurricane Ian and had to move. My home was uninhabitable, and I was in survival mode for quite some time. I’m still catching up and it’s been baby steps really, but I’m getting there. 

About a year ago I started to dabble in acrylic canvas painting. I wanted something for my living room wall and I searched high and low for what I saw in my mind. I couldn't find anything even similar to this image that I kept seeing in front of me. So, I thought, "Why not give it a try?" If all else fails at least I can say I tried...nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. Well, to my surprise and utter delight, I was able to capture the exact picture I had in my mind. It consisted of three connecting pictures of a sea and a few sailboats. 

No, it wasn’t perfect, lots of trial and errors for sure. But I kept at it and was so proud when it was finished. I went on a roll if you will and painted many more. It's been quite the adventure. 

I’m feeling very hopeful for this New Year upon us. I know there’s an awakening happening around the world after the last couple of years and that could have many wonderful benefits for humankind. 

For me, as I ‘ve mentioned before, I think it’s good to keep your ear to the ground for what’s going on in the world, to be vigilant, but not to get caught up in the fear of it all. It’s very easy for that to happen. I know, I was there. It's low frequency and can destroy you mentally and physically…. neuroscience is clear on that as well.  The dark forces that rule our world (if you know, you know) depend on that. Being the best version of yourself is key I've learned. 

With the fast emergence of AI, Creativity is so important. It's the one thing that they want to take from us because God instilled that into each and every one of us. 

This year will be filled with Art in all forms. I plan on doing more paintings and writing more songs as well. They are both so very calming and therapeutic in so many ways.  It takes me into another world and for hours on end where I actually lose time.
